A Claude connector for Xero groups

Ask Claude about every Xero organisation in your group at once.

Multiledger connects Claude to all the Xero organisations in a group of companies, trusts, funds, franchise sites or property entities. You can compare them side by side and ask for consolidated reports in one conversation.

It is for CFOs, financial controllers, finance managers and owners of multi-entity groups, and for the accountants and bookkeepers who look after them.

Xero's own Claude connector connects one organisation at a time and does not combine data across organisations. Multiledger exists for groups.

Give me a consolidated profit and loss for last quarter across the group.

Used Multiledger: consolidated profit and loss, 4 organisations

Here is the consolidated profit and loss for July to September 2026 across Northgate Holdings, Harbour Street Trust, Ridgeline Property and Calder Lane Services.

Group account A$
Revenue 4,452,400
Cost of sales (2,671,300)
Gross profit 1,781,100
Operating expenses (1,104,800)
Net profit 676,300
Intercompany management fees, eliminated 360,000

Northgate Holdings charged A$360,000 in management fees to the other three entities. Those accounts are marked as intercompany, so they are shown on their own line and left out of the totals above. The income and the expense net to zero.

Illustrative example. The entities and figures are fictitious.

What you can ask

Claude chooses the right Multiledger tool for each question. Some examples:

  • "Show profit and loss for each entity side by side for this financial year, with last year as a comparison."
  • "What is the consolidated balance sheet at 30 September?"
  • "Which bills across the group are awaiting payment, and who are they from?"
  • "List overdue sales invoices for Harbour Street Trust and Ridgeline Property."
  • "Do the intercompany loan balances net to zero?"
  • "Compare bank balances across all our organisations."
  • "Find every transaction with Coastline Electrical in September, in any entity."
  • "Which accounts are not yet mapped to the group chart of accounts?"

How access works

Multiledger only ever sees what each person can already see in Xero.

  1. 1

    Sign in to Multiledger

Agenta sets up your workspace. Your workspace admins choose who may use the connector and can limit each person to a list of organisations.

  2. 2

    Connect your own Xero login

Xero's consent screen lets you tick each organisation you want to share. Multiledger can reach only the organisations you can already open in Xero, at the level your Xero role allows.

  3. 3

    Add the connector in Claude

Add Multiledger as a custom connector in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile or your Claude Team or Enterprise workspace. Then ask your question.

Consolidation and account mapping

Consolidated reports use a group chart of accounts. An admin builds it from one organisation's chart in a click. Accounts with matching codes map to it automatically, and the rest are mapped on a mapping page.

Intercompany accounts can be marked for elimination. They are reported separately from the consolidated totals, and Claude can check that intercompany balances net to zero.

Unmapped accounts stay visible
An account that is not yet mapped is never dropped. It appears in the report labelled with its organisation, so the totals still add up.
Every organisation is queried in parallel
If one organisation fails to respond, Claude is told which one. It is not left out quietly.
Totals are calculated by Multiledger
Multiledger supplies the data and the consolidated totals. Claude's analysis of them is Claude's own, so check material figures in Xero before you rely on them.

Getting started

Agenta sets up each workspace. We connect your organisations, build the group chart of accounts and the mapping with you, set up your team and run a handover session. Tell us how many organisations your group has and we will take it from there.
